Vice President Institutional Sales
(small & micro cap equities)

Entrepreneurial, high energy self starter, with a track record selling and marketing small cap equity research and investment banking products.

Job Details:
Institutional Salesperson to work with the firm's research team to convey up-to-date information on small and micro-cap research to: mutual funds, hedge funds, private money managers and banks and insurance companies, that make up the firm's client base.

Key Responsibilities:

· Ongoing review of research published by the firm to remain current on macro and micro economic trends, market studies and recommendations on specific securities.

· Participation in daily conference calls with the research team to discuss market trends and new research, to remain current on the developments in the industry and to share information about specific clients.

· Daily calls with clients and prospects to share research ideas.

· Periodic personal visits with clients and prospects.

· Attendance at industry events to represent the firm.

· Willingness to travel 5-to-8 days per month.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Minimum three to five years of relevant job experience.

· Entrepreneurial and team oriented personality.

· Minimum two years of selling small cap research with verifiable successful track record.

· Strong financial and analytical skills with ability to understand and convey complex research ideas.

· Comfort level with entertaining institutional clients (breakfasts, dinners, social events, etc.).

· Outstanding oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively with clients and to liaison with other members of the research, sales and trading teams.

· Series 7 & 63. Undergraduate degree required; MBA (with finance concentration) or CFA a significant plus. A working knowledge of technical analysis will be a major plus.
